The role
The Technical SEO Specialist is responsible for ensuring the optimal health and performance of the website through regular monitoring and resolution of issues identified in tools such as Google Search Console and Ahrefs. This role involves conducting comprehensive technical SEO audits to identify improvement areas, suggesting actionable strategies, and tracking progress over time.
What you'll be doing
- Regularly review and address issues flagged in Google Search Console and Ahrefs to maintain optimal website health.
- Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits to identify and prioritize areas for improvement.
- Suggest strategies to address any issues and track progress over time.
- Provide clear, actionable recommendations to enhance site performance and search rankings.
- Stay updated with the latest SEO trends and algorithm changes to inform strategy adjustments.
- Develop and maintain technical SEO guidelines and documentation to prevent recurring issues.
- Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify new content opportunities and optimize existing pages for targeted queries.
- Perform regular on-page SEO audits and implement updates to meta titles, descriptions, header tags, image alt text, content structure, and internal linking
- Collaborate with content teams and give directives to ensure SEO best practices are embedded in new articles, reviews, and pages.
- Educate team members and stakeholders on best practices and SEO improvements.
- Collaborate effectively with other departments, such as Content, SEOs and Product teams, to ensure SEO best practices are integrated across all assets.
- Prepare and present monthly reports on SEO performance and projects at market meetings.
- Clearly communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical team members.
Who we're looking for
- 1–3 years of hands-on SEO experience, ideally in an affiliate or content-driven environment.
- Familiarity with optimizing large volumes of content or managing SEO across multiple websites.
- Excellent communication skills in English while other languages are a plus.
- Understanding of on-page, technical, and off-page SEO fundamentals.
- Knowledge and experience with Google tools such as Search Console, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics and other SEO tools.
- Familiarity with iGaming terminology
- Awareness of compliance standards and restrictions when optimizing content for regulated markets.
