The role

The Treasury Executive plays a key role in managing Gentoo Media’s cash flow, liquidity, and financial risk. Reporting to the Treasury Manager, this role ensures optimal use of cash resources, compliance with treasury policies, and effective support for business operations. The position contributes to safeguarding financial stability, optimizing funding costs, and supporting strategic financial decisions.

What you'll be doing

• Monitor and analyze daily cash positions and bank balances to ensure adequate liquidity for operations and debt obligations.

• Coordinate with internal departments to obtain and update cash flow forecasts, maintaining accurate reporting for treasury decision-making.

• Identify and mitigate financial risks, including foreign exchange and interest rate exposure.

• Track and interpret market trends, economic indicators, and regulatory changes to anticipate risks and opportunities.

• Support system and process improvements by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and adopt treasury best practices.

• Maintain and develop banking relationships, ensuring timely completion of required documentation and compliance with bank requirements.

• Administer cash transactions, bank account management, and compliance reporting, ensuring alignment with internal controls and external regulations.

• Prepare and review treasury reports, including cash flow statements, variance analyses, and audit documentation.

• Provide accurate and timely support for internal and external audits.

• Perform ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned by the Treasury Manager.

Who we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant areas, or 6.1 level qualification per the National Qualifications Framework of Serbia (NOKS).

• Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in Treasury, Finance, or Corporate Banking.

• Exposure to international cash management, FX risk management, and treasury systems is considered as an asset.

• Knowledge of cash flow forecasting, treasury systems, and banking platforms.

• Proficiency in Excel and financial modelling.

• Familiarity with treasury management systems (TMS) and ERP systems preferred

• Proficiency in English is a must
