For our AskGamblers site, we are looking for dedicated professionals to join a premier authority in the iGaming industry. The role
We are looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Customer Support Intern to join our team. Your primary focus will be maintaining the quality and integrity of our platform by moderating user-generated content. You will act as the first line of defense against spam, plagiarism, and inappropriate content, ensuring our community remains a helpful and safe space. When review volumes are low, you will also have the opportunity to learn the ropes of direct customer service by assisting with user support emails.
What you'll be doing
Content Moderation (Primary Focus) Review & Approval: Manually review incoming user reviews to ensure they meet our quality standards before publication.
Plagiarism & Duplication Checks: Investigate submissions to ensure content is original.
You will identify and reject: Plagiarized content copied from other websites, Duplicate content (e.g., the same review posted multiple times by one user), Reviews copied from other users on our platform.
Quality Control: Screen reviews for spam, profanity, hate speech, or content that violates our community standards
Guideline Enforcement: Apply our posting guidelines strictly but fairly to ensure all live content is relevant and helpful
Assist the support team during quieter moderation periods
Respond to basic user inquiries via email regarding account issues or moderation decisions
Categorize and tag user feedback to help us improve our services.
Who we're looking for
Excellent Written Communication: You have a strong grasp of grammar and spelling (fluency in English is required)
Attention to Detail: You can spot a copy-pasted review or a subtle policy violation quickly.
Good Judgment: You can differentiate between a critical review (which is allowed) and an abusive one (which is not).
Tech Savviness: You are comfortable learning new software tools and navigating admin dashboards.
Self-Motivated: You can work efficiently and stay focused on targets without constant supervision.
Education: Students or recent University graduates with no previous work experience
Role is shift based (08-16h or 15h to 23h) Monday to Friday
Internship duration: 3 months
